The Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center is a 142,000-square-foot facility that provides Auburn University’s hospitality students with hands-on learning experiences. Students learn and work in the Rane Center’s Laurel Hotel & Spa, 1856 Culinary Residence Restaurant, Thrive coffee shop and bakery, and Hey Day Market dining hall. The building also includes a range of classrooms and food production laboratories. The 7-story building is a mainly concrete structure with the brewery and rooftop having steel construction.
