This renovation converted an existing mammography screening unit into a new MRI suite with office space and a patient waiting area and restroom. The project included modifications to the existing concrete slab to support a 16,000-pound Siemens 3T MRI machine and rerouting of existing MEP systems. The MRI suite also includes specialized copper radio frequency shielding to meet the equipment requirements.
